The Newest Crime Scene Technology in Criminal Justice Class

This fall, many students in the Bay State College Criminal Justice program have been granted access to a cutting edge computer program called EdgeFX.  The software, created by Visual Statement, is the new standard in diagramming and animation on the web. It allows our students to recreate life-like crime scenes, analyze them, and answer the important "what-if" questions that will help them in real-life situations.

The program is now widely used by police departments across the country, ensuring that crash, crime and forensic investigation will be conducted quickly and efficiently.

"Right now, our students are using the software to re-think the day of the marathon bombings," says professor Paul Koczwanski. "The incident is still so fresh in our minds, and it's definitely a situation that we can learn from."
