Remembering the Boston Marathon Bombings One Year Later

It was a year ago today that we geared up for one of our favorite days in the city of Boston, Patriot’s Day. Marathon Monday.

It was a year ago today that our students and neighbors and friends lined the streets cheering as 30,000 men and women took on the 26.2 mile journey from Hopkinton to Copley Square.

And it was a year ago today that just blocks from where we call home, two bombs went off changing our lives and city forever.

Though our hearts still break for everyone affected by this senseless…

Kevin Lyman, Creator and Founder of the Vans Warped Tour, set to visit Bay State College next week

The Music Industry Club and Audio Engineering Society are co-hosting a great event on Wednesday, April 16th.  The creator and founder of the Vans Warped Tour, Kevin Lyman, will be visiting campus and speaking with students about production, marketing, and sponsorships for the tour.

Bay State College Alumus, the bass player in Boston-based band Rebuilder, and all around nice guy; it’s hard not to route for Dan Carswell. We caught up with Dan this week to talk a little bit about what he’s been up to since Bay State, and learn more about Rebuilder and their upcoming performance at the Rock N Rumble competition this weekend.
