National Nurses Week
As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may not remember your name but they will never forget the way you made them feel. -- Maya Angelou
The week of May 6 – May 12 each year is National Nurses Week in the U.S., and it is certainly fitting that we dedicate some time to praise the long-standing profession. Depending on what their patients require, nurses care and comfort in some of the most difficult times in people's lives. In times of illness, we all suffer a little less with their care.
We would especially like to wish a very happy National Nurses Week to our nursing graduates and those in our Nursing and RN to BSN programs.
Thank you, nurses, for all you do.
