International Student Q&A

Bay State College's Director of International Student Services, Julia Croft, recently sat down with Zero Kemo, an international student from China, for a brief question and answer session about his experience at Bay State.

What do you like best about your classes?
I can learn a lot from the professors. They are fun in class and ask my opinion. I feel challenged but know I can get help when I need it. They make me feel comfortable.

What is your favorite class thus far?
Definitely Introduction to Business with Professor Swaim. It's so fun and we do a lot of presentations.

Are you looking forward to one particular class in the future?
I would take anything with Professor Swaim or Koehler.

When you're not in class, what do you like to do?
Cycling, go to the gym, walk around Boston. If I answer 100% honestly, I also really like video games. I use to play them all the time at home too.

When  you think about after you graduate, what do you think you want to do?
I want to find a job first, work for a bit, then I want to start my own business.

In what?
Ha, I'm still figuring that part out!

What would you tell a friend from home is your favorite thing about Boston?
There is so much fresh air and green space. You can spend a lot of time outside.

How about your favorite thing about Bay State?
The teachers and staff are so warm hearted. They make me feel really comfortable and happy to be here.

Sometimes it's best to hear about the Bay State experience straight from the students who already attend. If you have any other questions you want answered by Julia Croft or one of our international students, be sure to contact julia.croft@educoglobal.com.
