Halloween Happenings
For most, Halloween starts October 1st and goes all through the month. We watch the trending makeup tutorials, get recipes on the spookiest snacks, and try out all the DIY decorations we can imagine. In Boston, college students have access to a ton of holiday festivities as well. But there are just so many to choose from! If you're having trouble deciding what to do this Halloween season, here are some of my favorite happenings throughout the month:
Screeemfest
October 21st 3-11
The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is hosting a trip to Canobie Lake Park for Screeemfest! With games, live shows, and FIVE haunted houses, get ready for a night of fright with your fellow students. To secure a spot, head to the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. All tickets are free with a $5 refundable deposit, but hurry because spaces are limited!
SoWa Spooktacular
Sunday, October 30th 11-4
Make sure you don't miss SoWa's last open market of the season. When Halloween rolls around, they pull out all the stops. Face painting, magic shows, pumpkin decorating, and live music all await you at Spooktacular!
Haunted Boston Ghost Tours
Boston Common
Through November 12th 8-9:30
Feel like getting a little scare—Boston style? Check out the Haunted Boston Ghost Tours and feel a shiver down your spine as you learn about the most famous ghosts of the city and the rich history behind the areas they reside.
Halloween Pet Parade
Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Saturday, October 28th 12-4
Tell me, is there anything cuter than animals in costumes? Didn't think so. Head over to Faneuil Hall to see the most adorable red carpet probably ever.
Have a fang-tastic Halloween! Creep it real, folks.
