Business Department Update

Here at Bay State College, students in our Business and Management programs have the opportunity to be a part of DECA, an international association of teachers and students that prepares leaders and entrepreneurs for careers and education in an array of business areas.

For those of you interested in networking and developing yourself professionally, join us at some of this year's DECA events!

Wednesday, September 28th
Voter Information and Registration. DECA will host officials from the Boston Election Commission and League of Women Voters who will assist students in registering to vote and provide nonpartisan information about local, state, and national candidates.

Friday, October 28th
DECA Professional Development Day. DECA members from Bay State College will practice their skills in public speaking and business analysis alongside students from other area colleges, including Endicott College and Johnson & Wales University, with local business people and academics serving as judges.

November 14th-18th
Global Entrepreneurship Week. BSC's DECA chapter will bring a number of local entrepreneurs and small business owners to the College to meet with students, explore career paths, and identify avenues for new entrepreneurial ventures!
