Going abroad during your college years may be one of the more beneficial and exciting experiences for a college student. By taking the leap and studying abroad, students have the opportunity to study in a foreign country, take in the allure and culture of their new surroundings. 

New more convincing? Here are just some of the top reasons to study abroad while at Bay State College.

    Deciding to study abroad and transitioning to living in a new country, you would be amazed at how many things there are to experience around the world. While abroad, you can see natural landscapes, live in different climates, and expand your knowledge on another country’s history. When you’re abroad, you won’t be limited to traveling within the area you are studying – you are able to see neighboring countries also!

Additionally, students are able to not only take courses abroad, but often times, enroll in an internship program within their field.

Traveling abroad, students are able to discover who they are as an individual while gaining a better understanding of a different culture.  

Bay State College offers full-year, semester and summer programs for students. Students are able to customize their study abroad experiences to best match their academic, career, and travel interests. Students who wish to study abroad must have completed one full year at the college, have a minimum of a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and submit an application through the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership.
