For most, Halloween starts October 1st and goes all through the month. We watch the trending makeup tutorials, get recipes on the spookiest snacks, and try out all the DIY decorations we can imagine. In Boston, college students have access to a ton of holiday festivities as well. But there are just so many to choose from! Every year the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership organizes a trip to Fenway Park to see a Red Sox game. On Monday, September 25th, we caught the Red Sox vs. Blue Jays game. Between the food, the friends, and the tradition, it was a night of Boston pride and community. Here's all that happened when I saw the Red Sox with Bay State.
On September 21st, CLAS tutor Taylor Stevenson kicked off the Allied Health Academic Success Series with a workshop focusing around study tips for Allied Health students. There are a total of seven workshops scheduled for the fall semester, each discussing ways to achieve academic success no matter the obstacle. For the first workshop, Stevenson highlighted the best ways to make studying time effective.
