Bay State College’s 69th Annual Commencement Ceremony is just over a week away, and we could not be more proud of our 2015 graduates.
Commencement is a wonderful event where students from our Day, Evening and Online Divisions from both our Boston and Taunton campuses come together to celebrate all of their accomplishments. This week we caught up with one of our Taunton graduates, Faith Bulgar, as she picked up her cap and gown to prepare for the big event.
For the past 3 years, Bay State College has been granted access to hold a Criminal Justice course inside the Massachusetts Correctional Institution in Plymouth as part of the Inside Out Prisoner Exchange Program. The course, joining both incarcerated and non-incarcerated students, has gained popularity and is making a difference in the prison and the local community.
"Everything student leaders do on campus is to better not only our college, but our community."
Many thanks to guest bloggers and student leaders, Felicia Coffin & Natalia Santana, for this piece on campus safety and Enough is Enough Campaign Week.
Alexadra Keil, work study student in the International Student Affairs Office, does a great job helping the international students get adjusted, runs events for them and acts like a mentor. She wrote this blog post about the fun things to do in Boston this spring, and we think it's a great reminder for all of us to get out and enjoy this great city. Thanks, Alex!
