Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society Induction Ceremony
Bay State College received a charter for the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Nu. This chapter is associated with the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN). On October 26th, eligible nursing students were inducted into this new Nursing Honor Society. In attendance were President Stacy Sweeney, VP of Academic Affairs Bill Carroll, Dean of Nursing Cheryl McInerney, Nursing Department faculty and the family and friends of the inductees. Our hope is that Alpha Delta Nu will promote scholarship and academic excellence in the nursing profession! Future nursing students may be offered provisional membership at the beginning of their third semester, and permanent membership at their fourth semester.

College Grand Rounds: Beth Boynton, RN, MS
The Nursing Department hosted its first College Grand Rounds presentation, with students from our Physical Therapist Assistant, Health Studies, Medical Assisting, Healthcare Management and Nursing programs in attendance. The speaker was Beth Boynton, RN, MS, author of Successful Nurse Communication: Safe Care, Healthy Workplaces, and Rewarding Careers and medical improv trainer.
