Bay State College's Financial Aid team provides students and families with personalized attention as they prepare to finance their education. We encourage all students to apply for both federal and state financial aid programs after October 1st by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 2018-2019 Tuition Charges

Day Division Students:

Tuition charges are assessed on a cost per credit hour basis and the program of study, providing students with maximum flexibility based on individual financial and academic needs. Credits vary based on the program of study. Please refer to the program flow sheets on each Program web page for individual program requirements. Program curriculum is subject to change. Transferred credits and/or remedial courses may impact the total number of credits required to complete most programs. Academic Year Tuition Costs below are based on a full-time course load of 30 credits per year, unless otherwise noted.

*Medical Assisting Certificate, Heath Studies, RN to BSN, and Information Technology programs are not eligible for institutional aid.

† Credit requirements vary by semester for Nursing, OTA and PTA programs.

# Criminal Justice & Management degree courses are $905/credit. The five Cloud Security Risk Management concentration courses in this program are $1200/credit.

Evening Division Students

For the 2018-2019 Academic Year, tuition is charged for Evening Students at the rate of $400 per credit hour, with the exception of Information Technology, Medical Assisting and Health Studies programs charged at the rate of $550 per credit hour. The five Cloud Security Risk Management concentration courses offered in the Criminal Justice, Information Technology and Management evening bachelor degree programs are offered as online courses and are charged at the rate of $1200/credit.

Online Division Students

For the 2018-2019 Academic Year, tuition is charged for Online Students at the rate of $400 per credit hour, with the exception of Information Technology, Medical Assisting and Health Studies programs charged at the rate of $550 per credit hour. The five Cloud Security Risk Management concentration courses offered in the Criminal and Management online bachelor degree programs are charged at the rate of $1200/credit.

Summer Session

The majority of Summer Day courses receive special summer tuition pricing of $550 per credit hour. For more information Click here.

Breakdown of Fees

Fees for All Students

• Application Fee: $50 for all programs, with the exception of Nursing and Physical Therapist Assistant programs, whose fee is $100. All application fees are non-refundable.
• Tuition Deposit: $100 ($250 for Nursing students, $1,000 International students), payable upon receipt of the acceptance letter. This non-refundable deposit is applied to tuition charges once classes commence.
• New Student Orientation Fee: $25
• Online Technology Fee: $75 per online course
• Late Payment Fee: $25 monthly
• International Fee: $100 annually, non-refundable
• Books and Supplies: The cost of books and supplies varies depending on the courses taken each semester.

Program Fees for Day Students

• Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Fee: $1600, charged each academic year to all students enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Physical Therapist Assistant Program Fee: $1200, charged each academic year to all students enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Nursing Program Fee: $1800, charged each academic year to all students enrolled in the Nursing program. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Fashion Design Concentration Comprehensive Fee: $800, charged each academic year. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Audio Production/Music Industry Concentration Comprehensive Fee: $725, charged each academic year. This fee is nonrefundable.
• RN to BSN Program Fee: $40, charged per semester to all students enrolled in the RN to BSN program. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Program Fee for all other programs (including non-degree students): $600, charged annually to all Day students not in above programs. This fee is nonrefundable.

Fees for Evening Students

• Program Fee: $120 fee, assessed each semester to all students. This fee is nonrefundable.
• Lab Fee: $50 per course; the lab fee is assessed of each Evening Division student where a lab component is included in the course. This fee is nonrefundable.

Fees for Online Students

• Program Fee: $25 fee assessed each semester to all students. This fee is nonrefundable.

Residence Hall Fees

Resident Hall Deposit: $300

Each incoming student wishing to live in our residence halls must submit a completed Residence Agreement and also a $300 nonrefundable Deposit to reserve the space. Upon occupancy, this initial deposit will be applied towards the student’s $300 Security Deposit.

Room and Board: $13,000

The Room and Board fee is assessed annually and covers all housing expenses.  Rooms are doubles, triples and larger.  Meal plan consists of 14 meals per week.  Students can select from breakfast and either lunch or dinner during the week and brunch and dinner on weekends.  This fee is nonrefundable.  (Limited single rooms available for an additional $3,000 per academic year, additional meal plans are available for an extra charge, summer housing is offered at a reduced rate.)

Residence Hall Technology Fee: $300

A Residence Hall Technology fee of $300 is charged per academic year to all students who reside on campus. The fee covers items including hardware and service for Internet access and cable television in rooms and common areas.
