Available both online and on Salve Regina University's beautiful Newport, Rhode Island campus, this program is designed to give you the professional requirements needed by justice leaders and practitioners in an increasingly technological and global environment.
Students have the option to focus in one of three available concentrations:

Concentration in Cybersecurity and Intelligence
The concentration in cybersecurity and intelligence highlights theory, policy and problems in this emerging field and responds to the interests, knowledge requirements and needs of law enforcement and justice professionals at the local, regional, state and international levels. The concentration includes attention to counterterrorism training in information technology, terrorist groups, domestic terrorism, high-tech crimes, intelligence gathering and financial investigative techniques. -
Concentration in Digital Forensics
The concentration in digital forensics encompasses an array of skills, including acquiring, extracting and analyzing data that is often useful for criminal investigation and civil litigation cases. In addition to criminal and civil investigations, it also plays a major role in intelligence and counterterrorism matters. The concentration expands on the knowledge gained from core courses, developing the skills necessary for utilizing networks, servers and analysis tools. -
Concentration in Leadership in Justice
Leaders in the justice field must reshape departments that have been highly centralized, over-specialized and conventional in their approach to solving community issues and problems. The concentration in leadership in justice focuses on strategic management in a multicultural, technological and collaborative environment.
Bay State College enrolled in the Criminal Justice Bachelor's Degree day, evening or online program who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or better are invited to apply. Because of this partnership, they will be granted up to 6 credits for relevant undergraduate courses and be able to earn their joint bachelor's and master's degree in as little as 5 years! Standardized graduate entrance exams, such as the GRE or GMAT, will be waived.
