Federal Work Study
Career Services helps to manage Bay State’s Federal Work Study program. A good number of work study eligible students work on-campus in positions with the Library, Financial Aid, the Registrar and with various other departments on campus.
In addition to the on-campus opportunities, Career Services has developed relationships with local non-profit groups where student volunteer and get paid via Bay State College’s work study budget. These new relationships allow the student to have a work study position that gives them industry experience. Examples of non-profit work study relationships are: Faulkner Hospital, Boston Bruins Foundation, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, etc.
