Ketsia F.
Evening Division Management Graduate

Like many of our students, Ketsia was already balancing work and family when she began classes at Bay State, but that didn't stop her from earning her degree.
Returning to college was an intimidating prospect for Bay State College graduate Ketsia Fidelia. Like many adults, Ketsia was already balancing work and family. She had her daily routine and had gotten comfortable with her lifestyle.
"I had been thinking about it for a few years, but I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to transition back to being a student again," she said. “It wasn’t until my career growth was being affected that I decided to go for it.”
When Ketsia made the decision to go back to school for her Bachelor’s in Management in 2006, she was already employed at MFS Investment Management. While attending Bay State College’s Evening Management program, she was able to work her classes around her busy full-time job and raising her family.
“The material was always relevant and allowed me to apply what I had learned to real-life work situations right away. I now hold a position as Senior Trade Management Specialist at MFS Investment Management, something I know wouldn’t be possible without my experiences here at Bay State.”
