International Students FAQ
I have never taken the TOEFL or IELTS. Can I still apply?
Bay State College does require proof of English proficiency. However, if you have studied at a language school or live close to our campus, Bay State may waive the TOEFL on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our International Student Advisor, at 617-217-9000 to see if you qualify.
Can Bay State College help me obtain my 1-20?
Absolutely! You must first be accepted to the College. Then, your admissions representative will walk you through the I-20 process.
If I come to Bay State College, can I live on campus?
Bay State College does allow students to live on-campus! Our residence halls are located at The Longwood House in Fenway.
I do not currently have official high school transcripts. Are unofficial acceptable?
Bay State College will require official transcripts before you are allowed to register for classes, so it is best to request them from your high school as early as possible. Please refer to the full list of transcript requirements on the main International Students' page.
