Over 50 PTA students from Bay State College attended this year’s Abilities Expo in Boston. The Abilities Expo is about bringing necessary products and services together under one roof for the community of people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, seniors, and healthcare professionals. It's about introducing opportunities that can enrich your life...especially ones that you never knew were out there. The students reported gaining immense knowledge and a whole new understanding about living with disabilities.

Here is what Hollie Neild, PTA Student, Class of 2017, had to say about her experience: “The Abilities Expo was an amazing experience. It was so great to see so many positive people who live life to the fullest despite their challenges. It was also great to see the amount of support that many have and the people who dedicate their own time to help someone. I believe everyone should attend an Abilities Expo at least once. I think it would give people a different perspective on their lives. I am definitely looking forward to going again next year!”
