BSC Students Continue Criminal Justice Education with Salve Regina Partnership

A total of five alumni from the Bay State College Criminal Justice program are currently taking advantage of Bay State's articulation agreement with Salve Regina University. This agreement allows Bay State College Criminal Justice students who are pursuing their bachelor’s degree to make a seamless transition to Salve Regina’s Master of Science in Administration of Justice and Homeland Security program.

The five students - Jose Perez in the Ph.D. program and Justine Waldron, Elysha Pare, Andreina Reyes and Joseph Dolendeck in the Master's program - take part in this agreement at an exciting and innovative time, as Salve Regina opens up a new digital forensics lab.

In a recent article in the Providence Journal, Salve Regina stated that "the new teaching environment will include simulating cyber issues as network, malware, and key-logging attacks, virus inoculation and detection, and more. Internet protective and detective systems will be studied. Digital forensics analysis, capable of being upheld in a court of law, will be an important aspect of this practice-based instruction as well."
